Home Depot recommended you for the type of work I need done @ 47 Boush St. in Kittery, Maine. It was unclear whether they would pass my information to you, or if I was to contact you. I did want to clarify that the scope of work is a little different that what Home Depot Associate thought.
- There's water damage behind the paneling on the long wall of a porcelain tub.
- Apparently water has seeped in from the window above it because of a failing seal of the caulking.
- The wall surrounding the tub needs replacing. It is presently the fake enamel 3" squares that come in panels. I would prefer the replacement to be one of the preform fitted ones, and to install that on top of the existing tub. The tub does not need replacing.
- Some of the insulation behind the enamel paneling may be wet; that might need replacing. Maybe fans will be needed to dry out the wood behind the insulation, I'm not sure.
- The window trim is all plastic wood which I had installed to prevent the wood from rotting.
- The whole bathroom was done 5 years ago and this panel has just begun to fail. It's discolored because of water damage.
- There are presently tenants in there. I kind of need this done pretty quickly.
Do you suppose we could set up an estimate time soon? I'm thinking perhaps next Tues, Wed. or Thurs?.
